More than an accessory, obi belts become a part of the act of dressing. Reversible by design they wrap the body in a gesture of gathering, bringing focus, intention and readiness for what lies ahead, while offering a strong sense of support and protection.

In this collection, two layers of substantial cotton create a firm, supportive structure. Hand embroidery is then used with intention to reveal selected parts of each pattern.  Catching the light, the stitched motifs bring texture, character and presence to the center.
